motherboard help

i was using m4a78em 1394 motherboard now i want to change it with MSI 760GM-P21 (FX)
Motherboard will this work? and also recommend me which DDR3 ram is better kingston or transcend?

You didn't say what cpu. The Asus is AM3/AM2+/AM2.. MSI isn't.. Kingston over Transcend..

wizgizmo, the best way to do this is to find a board you like, then go to the manufacturer's page and make sure the chip you have is in the compatibility list, preferably without a recent BIOS (as boards usually ship with an old BIOS). For example, here is the page for the MSI board you mentioned.
