Well, after seeing how the local UPS facility is run, I'm not surprised.

They take no care whatsoever. I had to pick up a package otherwise they were going to send it back, and they had a conveyor belt moving packages, and there were several of varying sizes (some very large) that had fallen off and clearly been damaged, but they just let them sit there. I've had decent luck with them with my own packages (where I couldn't get othere shipping), but I know that I will not ship anything through UPS. FedEx, at least in my experience is about 10,000 times better.
 
I worked at UPS in college, and lets just say that at 2AM the unloaders are not the most careful people in the world. And unloader could have easily stepped on the package while moving towards the back of the truck.

Not that I'm saying UPS did that, but they could have easily damaged it, and instead of returning it to the sender simply boxed it up and let someone else deal with it.
 
ECOST is gonna RMA the damaged one and gonna send me a new one 🙂 😀

They said they're not even gonna file a claim with UPS cuz it's gonna take too long.

I don't understand this 10 foot rule.... am I the only one who has a hard time imagining any hard drive, in any packaging known to man, being cool with a 10 foot drop?

I'll bet you're a sh!tty driver too. NJ sucks. Your complaint is automatically invalaid because you live or were born in NJ which automatically makes you a second class citizen.

Please excuse me, I thought you actually had a legitimate gripe there... thats what you get for living in NJ :beer:

You have bigger problems than UPS. Look to the right on this pic and tilt your head to the right. What do you see? How about your name, address, and telephone number. You might want to consider deleting this pic before every a$$hole is calling you and sending you crap.
 
I guess this is not the only time UPS screwed you up. They obviously did the same thing to your keyboard, which resulted in the bad caps lock key.
