sender is to blame here

he/she should put it into another box. UPS doesn't separate small and big boxes and give each one tender loving care

UPS has clear packing instructions that most people don't seem to follow and then complain

It was sent from ECost.
I have bought stuff from them in the past. They used obviously a small sized box with Big Air Bubble thing. As that's in the larger box.

Except when these UPS FVCKERS packed it. The packed it in a box that is 12x12x12 with a air bubble thing ( 1 ) and threw in the bluetooth headset box which obviously was crushed before being placed in the big box.

FVCK UPS. I MEAN FVCK EM UP EVERY FVCKING ORIFACE THERE IS.

so what is your point, ecost is to blame

i have personally received a ton of pacakges via UPS and CDW sends my company servers and a ton of other things via UPS and I can't remember one time when something came broken. You have to pack properly and within UPS guidelines. That means the package must survive a fall of at least 10 feet and it must be able to withstand a few hundred pounds of weight from other packages being on top.

UPS didn't pack anything, ecost did

and obviouslt that box couldn't withstand it since it is crumpled. guess what happens when that weak box is in between 2 larger say 30 or 40 pound boxes on a moving conveyor? when the packages stop waiting to slide into the truck, the belt keeps moving and the 2 larger boxes crumple the weak one. i see it everyday.

sorry that happened but a lot of times nothing can be done and it was anyone maliciously handling your box, i hate to tell you since that is what you want to think to make yourself feel better about the situation.
they put it in the bigger box to keep from losing parts from the damaged box.

Dude you're not understanding me.
The box that it came in today has no visible damage on the box. The inside contents were however crushed.
THe label shows that it was off another box. UPS REPACKAGED THE ITEM THEMSELVES After damaging the original shipping box and crushing the content.
These assholes couldn't even send it back to the sender ( ECOST ) and instead shipped it to me knowing they had crushed it.
What kinda POS company (Obviously UPS) does sh!t like this ?

i know exactly what you mean. like i said i see it all the time. it keeps everything together since the original packaging was woefully inadequate.
people have bad experiences with every shipping company that exists. sorry to hear about yours, i take that stuff personally since i work there.
trust me, we work our arses off trying to get stuff off in time.
sure there are few people who intentionally mishandle things but they usually don't last long

I have received hundreds of packages through Airborne Express, USPS and FEDEX and only UPS is the shipper I ahve problems with on a constant basis.

I applaud you for working for UPS but still it's pretty sh!tty, having your contents all busted up.
I'm just venting.

does the headset work?

I don't know yet.
But right now it has problem charging.
It won't sit on the charger correctly, so i'm still working on it.
It also needs to charge for 5 hours.
I already contacted Ecost on getting a replacement
I'm definitely sending this fvcker back to Ecost and having them replace it.
That's another week that I have to wait.

Why are you even bothering with a broken product? If it won't sit on the charger right, you'd see obvious physical damage. Why don't you just call the company you bought it from and request an RMA?

10 feet!? Thats BS.

linky

UPS has their packing standards on the website

every so called horror story I ever read about UPS has been the sender's fault. Some people don't realize that they need to pack their packages to withstand a lot of punishment. UPS handles too many packages to give tender loving care to every single one.

i remember when i was in the army in 3rd ID we went to the national training center one time. The army chartered 747's to take us there. It was my last time and so I ended up on baggage detail with a around 200 other people. When you have a 747 full of bags to pack you throw them around as fast as you can. If people didn't pack right then they would end up with broken stuff.

I'm in the same boat isekii, I ordered a hipo duel exhaust for my 1970 Chevy C20 P/U with a 327 small block along with a defroster repair kit and a plastic kit (door lock knobs, brake release knob etc).

I just came home to find this from the hammer boys (UPS)

Pic 1

There are 7 parts missing including the entire plastic kit :|

These asshats not only should be run out of business but also out of the country.

And one should not need insurance on shipping to get reimbursed for damage they cause. When you pay them for shipping they are taking your package and promising to deliver in the condition you gave them it. I've never seen a business where you can just fvck up someones property and then get away with it.
