Many people in Suburban Chicago (outside of Cook County) have an unhealthy obsession with crime rates in Chicago.

Yea, because they live near there, they don't want crime to spill in their area. Any logical person would have the same fear, second, a lot of Chicago cops live there so they come home venting about it; local media covers it, and a lot of these people go to sporting events in the city and want to be safe.

It's also strange how often you mention white people going to sporting events (and which teams they frequent), like it's proof of the absence of racism, or how they vote. Very odd.

Suburban whites like rap, they grew up around Black culture, they don't "see color" or are tired of hearing about race, they like hip hop or basketball/football. They say they're "hurting" with or have sympathy with their "Black and brown brothers" but didn't do much after the 2020 reckoning.

Sorry but you are wrong about that. The Chicago Police Department has a residency requirement so all of the officers live in the city.

This extreme insularity has helped perpetuate the gang like mentality of the force and extreme entitlement to getting paid but not doing their jobs because they only mostly socialize with each other.

It's definitely interesting to me that these MAGA patriots who think USA is perfect and the best country in the world and free of any criticism needs to have it's government overthrown.

When I think about "hmmm what is the greatest country in the world" the main criteria that puts the country at the top of the list with the most pull is "well the country that needs it's government overthrown is definitely top tier. The best country in the world would definitely not have a stable government that doesn't need to be overthrown."

Suppose they skipped the quiet part, where they first need to purge America of all the undesirables before Making America Great Again.
