That's what I've been told. So is there any truth to this?
Most people meet their first spouse by age 19.
But like with houses it's usually just a "starter marriage."

I met my wife when I was 16 and she was 15.
We were in high school then and boh our parents were against us because we were too young.
We did not have any expectation about the future.
Just take it day by day.
12 years later, we were married (last year).
From all our friends from high school, there is only 2 other pairs that were also highschool sweetheart (that are maried now).
I guess there is some truth to that but probably a minority case.
