That's what I've been told. So is there any truth to this?
I find that hard to believe. That is unless the rest of that includes half of them getting a divorce.
Not by me.
god i hope not
Most people meet their first spouse by age 19.
But like with houses it's usually just a "starter marriage."
maybe this was true in past...
damn, I'm screwed?
This is the case for me, I met my future wife at age 17 and after 2 years together we got engaged. I now look forward to our wedding in August. Don't know if this is very typical though, as I have plenty of friends who got married after 21.
Mine was age 20
Edit: Met at 18 started dating at 20
well my parents knew eachother in high school... didnt start dating until like after college or something
so yeah i would believe it... (and yes they're still together )
eh.. if the current gf stick with me.. i met her when i was 19..and we've been together for 10 months.. but we'll see
ROTFL because it's sad but true.
I think this is just generalized BS.
I didn't start dating till I was 20. Having a serious relationship in your teens is just asking for trouble.
This sounds like BS to me. But it might be true if the entire worlds population were under consideration?
Damn.. I'm 34 and newly single, so I guess there's no hope here...
I met my wife when I was 16 and she was 15.
We were in high school then and boh our parents were against us because we were too young.
We did not have any expectation about the future.
Just take it day by day.
12 years later, we were married (last year).
From all our friends from high school, there is only 2 other pairs that were also highschool sweetheart (that are maried now).
I guess there is some truth to that but probably a minority case.
I guess I was looking the other way when she walked by.
oh my god!!! I'm screwed too! 12 years past 19 and I'm still not married!!! :Q
I don't think that's true unless you live in Utah.
How did you survive college?
heh, not likely.
<--- 24, handsome and single.
^ well, vain and single for sure
My god. You people are no fun today. I'm going to take my toys and go home.
Don't forget to pick up new batteries on the way..
I met my fiance when I was a sophomore in college... I was 19 or 20 then and we were just really good friends. We didn't start officially dating until junior year.
