I went to the convenience store and got me a large soda I put the ice in the cup and then picked diet Pepsi because that is what I wanted so I filled the cup up with Diet Pepsi I like to watch the pop fizz over the ice and so I did that while I was filling the cup with Diet Pepsi but the cup wasn't really filled with diet pepsi because the ice was already in there so it was really more like a cup of ice and diet pepsi mixed together then I moved down to the end of the pop machine where the cups and lids are kept and I discovered that there were no large lids which meant I had to develop a new plan because I needed a lid so I wouldn't spill my large coke so I slurped down the diet pepsi and pour the rest into a smaller cup so I could get a lid for it and then I went to pay and the cahier only charged me for the samller drink because of the cup even though I got to drink the top off the larger cup score.

One of my new coworkers laughs at everything I say, no matter how corny, and acts impressed at every topic I bring up, no matter how insignificant. I've about had it. He outright says "amazing!" for things no one would ever say that about just because I brought it up. He's not being sarcastic. Yesterday, he laughed hysterically at something I said that wasn't even a joke. It seems that he didn't understand it, assumed it was a joke, and laughed like he was satisfying my expectation.

It's clear that either he's the most boring or easily-impressed person on the planet or he's treating me like a brown-noser would treat his boss. I am not his boss!

I'm boring. I like boring dramaless days.

People just lack perspective. They have their own worlds and own world view and can't conceive of how someone could possibly view the world differently than they do. can't imagine a different culture.
