One of my new coworkers laughs at everything I say, no matter how corny, and acts impressed at every topic I bring up, no matter how insignificant. I've about had it. He outright says "amazing!" for things no one would ever say that about just because I brought it up. He's not being sarcastic. Yesterday, he laughed hysterically at something I said that wasn't even a joke. It seems that he didn't understand it, assumed it was a joke, and laughed like he was satisfying my expectation.

It's clear that either he's the most boring or easily-impressed person on the planet or he's treating me like a brown-noser would treat his boss. I am not his boss!

Isn't he/she laughs at all your jokes, even the unfunny ones, on every single "does he/she like me" list?

P.S. It's okay, I've had two homersexual coworkers come onto me -- they came out to me. Unfortunately, I am not homer or I'd be married with a sugar daddy now.

Yeah, I'm pretty boring. I remember being ~9 years old, watching my ~80 year old neighbor tend to his plants in his backyard, and thinking how much I wanted to be old and retired. Even pre-kindergarten my parents joked about me being "born in a three-piece suit" and affectionately describe me as "our precious anti-social son" that ate the exact same meals every day and did little more than read books. Today my hobbies are arguing on internet forums, buying rare cassettes and CDs off of eBay, and listening to music few other people listen to. Desperately hoping that my desire for a mate goes away because I know I'm never getting one. Even my face is boring.

I have a friend like that too. I remember once telling him "Apples are Red" and he started laughing uncontrollably for over a minute.

You're a boring person too, aren't you?

How boring am I?

How boring am I answer the question on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being mind numbingly boring and 1 being not boring at all. How boring am I? First thought that comes to mind aaaaaand GO!

I'm repairing his wife's phone today, so I doubt that.

It's okay. Both of those coworkers that came onto me made a point of mentioning that they nailed females before. One came out in his mid-30s, the other earlier.

I have a couple of co-workers do the same thing on a regular basis, that know that I think they are kiss asses.

They shouldn't even be employed there, are dead weight and produce little to nothing, and back stab people constantly.

I miss my old CAREER, vs the odd places I've had to work at the last 5 years after a major places shipped my job out.

I've worked at places they would have walked these guys straight out the door from some of their BS, I should be looking for another job I imagine.

I'm really not doing what a I should be these days, just an off shot of it.

I try not to be bitter about it, still making pretty decent money and the wife has recovered also pretty well, after a similar meltdown of the economy in general years ago.

Some people walking around doing that shit are pretty much dead weight more or less.

I really should move out of there, the place is poorly managed, the engineers are very young, ask one of the said bullshit artists for information that can;t hit his ass with both hands.

It's almost amusing to watch it.
