Most overrated movie?

Just like the topic title says, what movie in your opinion is overrated?

My personal picks:

- The English Patient. Yeesh....I turned it off after about 30 minutes because I was bored out of my mind. My parents were the ones who rented it originally and they didn't like it either.

- The Royal Tenenbaums. Watched the entire thing but wasn't really grabbed by it at all and my wife fell asleep about halfway through it. This is unfortunate because they had so many good actors in it

- Super Troopers. After hearing so many people rave about this, I rented it. I found the distinct lack of teh funnay disturbing. I like stupid screwball comedies in general, but this was just lame.

- The Last Samurai. This got a big "meh" from me. My wife and I started watching it and got about 30 minutes into it before we both decided we were bored. Unfortunate, because it sounded interesting.

- Lost In Translation. Something definitely got lost in translation on the way. Once again, the Stop button got pressed after about 30 minutes.

EDIT: I'll also add The Thin Red Line to the list. Boring as hell, not to mention what was up with putting all these good actors in it but only giving them 2 minutes of screen time?

Caddyshack. Maybe it's because I saw it twenty years after it came out, but I can't understand why everybody loves this movie. Chevy Chase is NOT funny, the "hot" chick is the girl from TRON, I wanted to slap the main kid around, Bill Murray was disappointing. Meh. When the best parts of a movie are Rodney Dangerfield and a "Candy Bar" in the pool joke, you know you've got a problem.

I already answered this in the underrated threat buttttt.........

Signs !!!!!!!!!!!!! so horrible!! 2 misn of dialogue the entire movie, so slow moving! had no point! nothign special or unique about it not even the silence! I felt suspense maybe the first 10 mins and it just got old and died. horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clerks is probably at the top of my list. It was funny but I can't figure out why so many people seem to faun over it.

Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan, Fight Club, others. They were good movies, don't get me wrong, but waaaaaay overrated.
Fight Club wasn't overrated. In fact most reviewers hated it when it was in the theaters. It's only become popular as a sleeper hit after it went to video and DVD. And even then it's technically a Cult hit.

Definately Lost in Translation, for as much hype that it got it was an out and out bore. I keep hoping that something interesting would happen but was disappointed. Also Mothman Prophicies(sp?). Granted it didn't have the hype that Lost in did, it was still pretty bad.

You can't call a 20 year old comedy overrated. Comedy changes over time and most of the jokes in the movie aren't funny to your average movie watcher of today. It's the same reason older generations don't think stuff like 'Road Trip' and 'Old School' are all that funny.

Overrated : Fight Club

personal oddball:
Meet the Parents.

everyone I know said it was Ben Stiller's best... but I found it very boring. (well, partly due to the fact that my friends told me all the highlights of the movie, like Martha Frocker, the racing scene, blhahbahla)

Old School - that movie had hardly any funny parts aside from the parts we saw 1000 times on the preview.

Donnie Darko - this movie just flat out sucked, no clue on the hype

Bubba HoTep - again, this movie was just ridiculous and I dont see how that movie was even funded.

ill post more if i can think of them.

EDIT1:
Signs - if it was advertised as a religious movie instead of a thriller, maybe it wouldnt have been.

Unbreakable - this movie just speaks for itself ...
