Segway without a doubt. "They will build cities around it" -- You can't get much more hype than that.

The y2k bug was very real. It still hit in some places and proved that our preparation for it was justified.

I have to add another vote for the Segway. I have, to this day, NEVER seen one of these useless contraptions!

LOL...I guess I missed when they said that. Aside from the obvious third wheel thing (effectively making the segway a solution to a problem that didn't exist) why in the hell would I want to ride around on one of those god damn things? My legs work just fine, they go up stairs and they didn't cost me $5000. Besides, the last thing America needs is a way to reduce the exercise we're all getting.
