guess that shows differences of opinions. i consider radiohead to be the greatest band currently and one of the top bands in modern music. i also consider myself a 'musicphile' who has seen more live shows than the average person.

i dont think disturbed is groundbreaking, or even very innovative.
i will say that they do put on a great live show and sound very tight.


some of these other bands live .....

i also hate godsmack, but again...i saw them with the deftones, and it was unbelievable how terrible the deftones sounded..they turned into a treble non lethal weapon.
whereas godsmack, as fluff as i think they are, can perform and sound good live.


unless you are one of those backyard moshpit guys....
rare breed.put a boombox in the back window with some metal/hardcore and mosh with some buddies.

You do realize how many artists list the above under their Roots & Influences, right?

I think Nirvana should be near the top of this list. They were very good, but not the greatest act ever like all their hardcore fans want to believe.
