Agreed. If you want an interesting report you'd have a hard time doing better than this company.

Mci Worldcom. some good controversies and coverups there from a company whose servers route most of the traffic on the internet.

I work for DuPont in Canada, but only as a summer student. My dad has been working for their Engineering Polymers division for damn near 30 years now...

I was going to say that DuPont was the most BORING company to do a report on. Sure, it's highly, highly diversified (They make Nylon(Actually, Invista does that now), Kevlar, Butacite, Teflon, Fluorochemicals, pesticides, household and automotive paint, dozens of different types of plastics, and also a lot of imaging stuff...) and they ship all over the world (Trust me, I've been updating the customer database, and there are literally tens of thousands of companies)....

If you want to do a report on a company that's anal retentive on safety, DuPont is a good one to pick.

I'm sure someone will cover Microsoft, Dell, etc., but everyone knows what they do. I'm looking for some random company that has something interesting to talk about.

Any ideas? :D

In 1995 I did my econ report on AMD. A small little semiconductor company out of texas :)

At the time I think I had a Cyrix PR200 processor in my computer. What a POS that was.
