HK PSG-1 Rifle and case with optics dissapeared from checked luggage at Ben Gurion Airport. I think the total package was billed at $15k.

Really, really pissed. Soooo much paperwork.

Edit: Oh and someone stole almost $2k worth of my CD's the day I moved into my College Dorm, Freshman year.

Long ago, I lived in second floor apt with balcony. Some thief climbed up and stole my cheapo mountain bike! It only cost $100, but it was certainly the most memorable loss--One day, I looked into the balcony and thought: Wait a minute, I used to have a bike here . . .

Anyway, hours pass as I'm with friends, doing prayers, and eating lunch there. Well, when I go back, out of the hundreds of shoes, my new Iversons were gone! I looked for a long time and no luck . . .
Take comfort in the fact that the shoe thief will be reincarnated as toe fungus.

My 99 ninja zx-9r. Had just got it out of the shop after putting the full exhaust and jetting and new rubber on it. Fully detailed it that Saturday, went out to ride it sunday morning but no bike.

Drove off with my 100-CD book (doubled up, closer to 180 cd's in there) on top of my car. had everything in it. Was more pissed about all my Hawaiian CD's (had a couple autographed) as they're pricey, and hard to find here in WA (this was before shopping online was so huge). Figure close to $2000 in CD's. I was so pissed at myself that night :( Still makes me sick whenever I think about it.

Someone stole my Gamecube out of the living room in my friend's dorm suite (right next to my suite)... we kept all the gaming systems in there because they had the big TV and awesome sound.

They took the Gamecube unit and most everything that was attached... the game that was in it, the memory cards, and the receivers for my two Wavebirds. They didn't take any of the normal controllers, or the Wavebirds themselves, or any of the games, or the power/AV cables. They left the PS2 and the Dreamcast that were sitting right next to it. Odd.

Wow I have had a bunch of stuff stolen before..here goes,

10 or 20 CDs from the back of my car when I was giving an *ex* friend a ride home (I cannot remember how long ago it was)

My brothers walkman got stolen from my school locker my freshman year in HS, man was he pissed

I assisted in getting my brothers bike stolen when we both rode into the city, I convinced him to go and then when we got there I had him lock up with his friends lock which sucked and then I used mine with my bike and my friends...I felt awful for that

My brother used my old car and it got stolen, over $1,500 worth of stereo equipment and other various parts were lost with that car, not to mention its value of over $3,000

lent someone a $150 radio controlled car and never got it back..don't know if that is stolen, stupidity or a combo of the both

Had someone steal a package from me in college but the police got it back, the package had a polo tie and some tuna that my mother sent to me.

Finally had $30 stolen from me when I fell for an email video game scam, my dumbass fault but I thought it was a good deal and $30 was a risk I was willing to take.

there is more I think but I cannot remember.

My ex still has my TV, shes had it for over 6 months since I asked for it back, so probbably that. I had a really nice bong stolen from me once too. My friend made it for me in a machine shop, don't exactly know what the monetary value of it was but since it was one of a kind and a gift from a good friend I was pretty pissed about it. I don't smoke pot anymore so I could care less now, but at the time I was ready to dismember whoever was responsible.

Someone asked about why I posted the shoes as the most valuble thing stolen from me and heres why. (I'm too lazy to go back and quote it...)

First, being a 14 year old and 15 year old and getting every pair of Iversons at $30 a pair is a nice deal. I don't think its about the money here but instead just liking the shoes. I love all my stuff till the end, well not love, but I really like em...

Same goes for my bike, its a Trek that cost me about $300 which usually sells for $430 or so. I always lock that thing up and I love it so much.

I don't thi nk its about money, but rather just liking what I own there.

I'm too lazy to quote this as well, but when he said that he thought the title said most expensive thing you've stolen... well, maybe a pencil or two in elementary school, ok ok ok, fine, I took all of your huffies and audio stuff. ;) j/k

Oh yeah, actually there is one more thing that is mor eexpensive that has been stolen. One of my friend's friends was over at his house and I called em both over. I was like 10 at the time which was when Pokemon was in style, anyway, I showed em how I had EVERY "base" set card. Including a Charizard which was the most rare. Well, guess what, being a total idiot, somehow he stole it. I ended up getting lucky and getting another one by chance, but at the time it was worth.... agh I don't remember and I ran my own Pokemon website with over 10,000 unique people at day at its peak, lol... well it was worth a good amount for a 7th grader

a house, $200k, shorting @Home (esentially betting they would go bankrupt)

well less than 2 years they went bankrupt, but i still lost $200k, the bubble didn't burst quick enuff, and the margin call came in
