either my gameboy taken away from summer camp :-( The old grey one i was like 10 years old :-( $90?
in hs i lost a shirt $30 forgot it some class never seen it again.
I've had numerous hoodies disappear, one from Ron Jon Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach, one from the AF Academy, and a nike one. Had my cd player and speakers stolen out of my first car. Lost the inside layer of my jacket somehow, and at the beginning of this school year I had my schwinn bookbag stolen out of my car, which contained my doc marten sandals, a crappy calculator, 3 text books (60 bucks a pop), and numerous other little things (pens, pencils, new school supplies mostly.) :|
When I moved from Nevada to my current location, the moving company (Bekins) had a couple of thieves working for them. I'm still waiting for my claim for over 100 DVD's, a ViewSonic VG800 18" LCD, and a bunch of other small stuff...over $3k total!
A couple winters ago my friend and I were snowboarding at Ski Brule and when we come to leave, we set our boards by the lodge like everyone else. Go inside, take off boats, change shirts, etc.
We come back out and our boards are gone. Walked around the lodge just to make sure. Yup, they were stolen.
We ended up being able to claim them on home owners insurance, so we got partially compensated. The value of my board + bindings was about $400 and the value of hers was about $450.
My calculator from high school. Was a $140 one and for a HS kid, it's alot of money. Eventually found it was my "best friend." Somehow his bike ended up under my friend's truck.
My car was stolen. It was an '87 Buick LeSabre and I lived in "no man's land" between the 'hood and the affluent neighborhood.
Anyway, I went out and bought a cheap VW Golf (more my style) with what funds I had at the time. A week later I get a call from the cops saying they recovered the Buick.
I was almost more upset that they recovered it than I was when it had been stolen lol. The steering column was cracked, and my Rollerblades were gone. Apparently it'd been taken for a joyride and left when it ran out of gas. It was about 10 blocks from my apartment.
In the end, I sold the Buick for more than I thought I'd ever get ($700 for a car with a cracked steering column and front end damage). I always hated that car.
My DVD player and DVD movie collection. My Ex-GF has been reluctant to give em back to me, and claims most of the collection is hers. She was kind enough to give me back some of the movies she hates. %$^^@ it. At this point I really could care less.
