What?!?! Godammit, why doesn't anyone clue me in to these things? That would explain the message on the machine from the Sig Ep fraternity at Emory about the "blow jobs for the pledges".

Probably $85 for shoes in high school.

I buy everything on sale and have boughten a lot of my clothes through the hot deals forum. Just bought 2 pairs of Doc Martens for $55 each.
 
My sports coat was around $400 and my winter jacket was about the same. My most expensive footwear would be my Birckenstocks at $90. I also have a watch (the only item I actually paid for) that retails for $600 but I got for $350.
 
i think around $300 for a helly hansen shell and fleece liner... money well spent. I'm never too cold or too hot with it on, and it is perfect for hiking
 
$450 for a cashmere sport coat, $200 watch (which i lost diving 🙁), and I quite often wear my camera, often enough to consider it a clothing-accessory, so $10,000 for that 🙂
 
I'm really good at finding designer goodies cheap, I hit the warehoures up in Kittery a few times a yr and am on every mailing list for the really good stores.I do have got a designer leather trench that set me back a few hundred and my shoe addiction is the stuff of legend, I love my feet ,they get only the best 🙂
 
I am a tight arse when it comes to spending money on clothes, hell, I even got married in jeans.
I don't really like clothes shopping, infact hubby tends to get more excited about it than I do. (he drags me along to the stores)
Experience has taught me to shop without him because I can buy an entire wardrobe for the same price the two items he picks out will cost.
The most expensive things I have bought would be the odd leather items, he on the other hand thinks nothing of buying shirts that I never wear for $100.
 
I got DKNY Black Trench Coat with removable inside liner for $75 (75% off), Oakley A-Wires $100, Casio refurb Tri-Mode (thermo, digital compass, baro) for $85.
Those are my most expensive stuff. Cos I don't buy clothing over $20.
 
I'm a cheap clothes fanatic. I hate to buy clothes with money that could have been spent on computers and electronics. I got my company to buy me $125 steel toed wolverine boots. I wear those everyday.

I guess I bought outdoor work coveralls that were essentially a CarHartt knockoff for $75. I can't remember if I got reimbursed by the company for those. Otherwise, we're down to the less than $30 range. I buy used clothes at Value Village, and on eBay as much as I can. I meant it about hating to buy clothes.
 
if we include my glasses they are Oakley A wires with Ice Blue Iridium tints with the works and they are prescripted = £120+£150 = £270 ~ $365. Only the best for my eyes, hell I only have 2 and they aren't that grreat now!

I've yet to buy any real nice suits. Will get some when I have the need to have a really good suit.
 
Some girl at my school bought a $2,000 dollar prom dress.
That's crazy! And she's probably gonna wear it only once or twice.
She should go buy a computer or something.
 
most i spent on clothing was i think $85 shoes i only wore a couple of times. i'm pretty cheap with clothes and all, being a college student...but once i'm making my own money i will be a little freer about spending money on nice stuff.
 
Nice leather jacket for $300 was probably the most expensive single item. I think my entire suit was about the same amount.

When I was younger I bought quite a few Italian sports jackets at $1000+ .......but oh those jackets......linen... and to die for. I still have one now that I wear, The design and cut is ageless . I also bought many a belt at $150 or more and boots at $400. There's something about Italian clothing....
I no longer do things like that although computer upgrading is also very addictive. 😉

Hehe.. I raided Macy's with a vengeance. Went when they had 50% off suits AND got a Macy's card for another 10% off 😀
 
Well, if you include shoes, then I regularly spend around 50 for a new pair of running shoes. Other than that, I think I once bought a pair of khakis for like 18 dollars.... :Q
