whats the most most expensive clothing item you bought?

For me its probably my Nike Shox R4 I bought last year. Still looking good. It cost me £130 ~ $175.

Clothing item would be this mole skin jacket £70 $95. I'm a student.

So whats yours? I bet some of the girls here have CRAZY stuff they bought for! Hell they GOT TO!

Also I'm not so in to designer names. Most of its FAR too pricey for what they are. I like nice clothing though. But I WILL NOT pay £100 for a dam shirt! That is just not worth it. Well unless it was a shirt that had purpose. I suppose if I was out in somewhere very cold like the North Pole then I'd have to buy some 'specialist' clothing. That I can see spending more for.
 
ummm, i try not ot spend over a hundred bucks on clothing items. but I think It was just over a hundred one some shoes.
 
well, in the last few years, it would have to be my $34 pair of shoes. This easily quadrupled the cost of my last pair of pants. My jacket was obtained for $5 and is probably the warmest one i have ever had. What this basically means is that my girlfriend has taken over the money i normally use on clothes for her clothes.
 
I've got a couple suits that were way up in the hundreds...more when you add the dress shirt, ties, shoes, etc.

Shoes...I think I spent $85 on Reebok Pumps in 8th grade or so...
A few years back, I got an A|X shirt that cost $80
My leather jacket was extremely cheap as I got it in Barcelona this past winter...$50 American! w00t! 🙂
 
Yeah, I got a Missoni suit for $320, which in fact was a good deal. A few pairs of shoes ~$100-120 (with size 13 feet I don;t have much choice 😉 )
 
Not counting interviewing suits, my most expensive clothing purchase was my North Face Mountain Light jacket with Denali fleece liner. $525 retail, paid $393, wore it 4 years and sold it on eBay for $220.
 
If you count suits, then somewhere over $300. Can't remember how much I spent on my last suit. As for clothing that I actually wear, then $140 for a Pens jersey. If watches count, then $280 or so for the watch I wear.
 
$650 on a Hugo Boss suit (including alterations)...but it was a gift
$350 on a coat (full length wool/cashmere)...and this was after about 50% in discounts! :Q
$150-200 on several pairs of shoes
 
my prom dress was $220 bucks
runners up go to : pants: $170, sweater: $120, shoes: $200 just off the top of my head

I have one Zanella sportjacket that was $600, and a few suits I inherited from my father that were ~$1,000 each. An old girlfriend of mine (she is a clothing designer herself) used to regularly wear a pair of Prada boots that cost about $1,000!
 
I spent a little over $1000 for some Vanson motorcycle leathers a few years back. Does that count?😉

The most expensive clothing item I purchased for my gf was her prom dress I think.. $250.. but then the other things that I've bought her way exceed that..

I spent $850 on a Movado Vizio watch from ashford.com, and that is after a 15% discount found on the hot deals forum.
