I don't know, but if I used to have one, I'd have given it up for ass-gaskets?
The fact is that most new technologies start off with low performance and HIGH cost, not low cost.
I would say paper copying technology might fit the bill as a disuptive technology though, and the performance of today's photocopiers is getting very good; some are good enough to print money!
