Then the damn third stage boss, it is just so damn hard to be in the right spot to not get hit by the million little lasers.

I can get to stage 4 without using a continue usually. But the first minute of stage 4 just kicks my ass all over the place. How on earth is it possible to beat that? I can dodge the lasers, but the feedback from the enemies I shoot is what usually gets me cause I got to switch colors a million times a second.

I play on normal. I refuse to play games on easy. But man....

ahh ... the joy of someone else sharing my pain ... =)

Did anyone here ever beat Bart's Nightmare for the SNES? I swear the Indiana Jones stage was plain impossible...

descent 2 be4 patching on the hardest level. nobody could beat it, because two bosses were undistructable... (at least after patching you had the slight possibility to beat the game..)

and tetris on the game boy: i never could beat it

Anyone play Bubble Bobble on the NES? I beat it, but holy crap was it luck. I never beat Blaster Master, made it to the last level, but promptly died.

The original Contra I kicked @ss at, man was that a fun game. The rest in the series however were damn near impossible.
