Most depressing song?

'last kiss' by pearl jam.

oh, not by the song content. its depressing because it makes me realize i will never hear ten/vs-era pearl jam ever again.

There's no way I can narrow it down to one.

Whiskey Lullaby
Rascal Flatts - What Hurts the Most
Trace Adkins - Help Me Understand

There are quite a few songs I can think of when I think of depressed... those are the first 3 that come to mind.

First part of Beethoven's 7th second movement. Totally awesome.
Or his moonlight sonata.

Maybe question of time or never let me down again should be in there, depeche mode.

Oh, good one! "The End" by the Doors.

Kiss - Because I'm a Girl

This is so sad it will make all of your girl friends and boy friends cry. The music video is even sadder!

Gary Jules - Mad World

Nowhere Again by the Secret Machines is also pretty damn depressing to me. Over time I have associated it with depressing events so its a very... depressing song.

Some runner ups:

All Apologies- Nirvana
This Years Love- David Gray
Televators- Mars Volta
The Scientist- Coldplay
Yellow- Coldplay
Everlong- Foo Fighters
Something In The Way- Nirvana

Originally done by J. Frank Wilson and the Cavaliers.

Pearl Jam's version is a cover.

Any song off of the Pornography album by The Cure...not recommended for those on the verge of suicide...depressingly dark beautiful album
