Most boring movie you have ever seen?

Passion of the Christ has to be up there.

I mean, seriously, they take 2 hours and 10 minutes to show like 1 days events... And most of the movie is in slow motion of some Romans wailing on some dude. Boring as crap. I was sitting there, in the theater, trying to read my Raisinette box in the dark, when I realized that people were actually crying. I thought, "Wow, I've never actually seen people be bored to tears before."

What a terrible movie. Terminator 3 was way better, and that's not saying much.

Lost in Translation.

Direction was good, but the movie just sucked.

Every time I try to watch it, I get half way through the movie feeling like 3 hours passed by and I have to shut it off. Just realizing that I'm only half way. OMG.

As for people mentioning Lost in Translation, from what I hear it's a pure love it or hate it movie. There's no middle of the road. Some friends I have who've seen it hate it (rather pedophelic undertones it's said), so I'm in no rush to see it either.

😕 You might be thinking of Leon...

It was so bad, I can't even remember the name of it.....

it was the Japanese version of "The Grudge"

teh sucked BIG time 🙁

Shoulda checked rotten tomatoes first. 😀

i heard it was bad, but what do those other people know? obviously a lot more than i do...

don't get me wrong, i'm one of the least homophobic guys amongst my friends, but the movie had such a homo theme going on that it made me uncomfortable. if i were gay, this is the type of movie i would take a date out to

Sound of Music, fvcking horrible if you are not appreciative of musicals (I'm not).

how old are you? i was able to enjoy that movie when i was in junior high, it's a great movie. you must be some kind of goth freak that's all about death if you didn't enjoy it.

I'm 23, I'm as far from goth as you can possibly be. I appreciate all sorts of music, but I HATE musicals, and that is the epitomy of the term "musical". You must be some kind of douchebag to like that movie.

From reading this thread it appears that the MTV generation does have real attention span problems.

My vote for most overrated boring movie is Ghandi. As proof, a friend of a friend once broke his leg. He went to the ER, got the leg set and throughly doped up, went home. That evening they were all watching Ghandi. The injured guy fell asleep 15 minutes into the movie and woke up with a start two hours later, saying (he thought truthfully) "Thank God I didn't miss anything."

Citizen Kane comes to mind. I don't care if it was revolutionary... most film students find it boring as fvck when they're forced to watch it 60 years later

Gerry. A movie about 2 guys that get lost in the desert.

Not the worst movie I have ever seen, there are some really long parts of the movie where it shows them walking through the desert. I had to hit the fast forward button a few times.
