Most accurate internet speedtest for Canadians?

Last Result:
Download Speed: 5482 kbps (685.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 950 kbps (118.8 KB/sec transfer rate)

That is only half of my rated speed. :-(

This is why I created this thread. Here is the results of my speed test from my own internet provider. There is either an issue with the site, or it hates my java.

dslreports.com speed test 2006-12-10 02:29:45 EST:
690 / 969 (Kbps)
(84.3 / 118.3 KB/sec)

Try a speedtest here folks: http://speedtest.eastlink.ca/

I don't really trust speed tests as I consistently get scores much lower than actual rates I achieve on a daily basis (600+KBps/45KBps). Of course, just as with benchmarks, they generally tend to work with some degree of accuracy to help you determine if something isn't doing what it is supposed to or vice versa.
