Well I was hoping to find a speed test in Canada. That is why I am asking.

Download Speed: 5482 kbps (685.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 950 kbps (118.8 KB/sec transfer rate)


That is only half of my rated speed. :-(

This is why I created this thread. Here is the results of my speed test from my own internet provider. There is either an issue with the site, or it hates my java.

690 / 969 (Kbps)
(84.3 / 118.3 KB/sec)

I don't really trust speed tests as I consistently get scores much lower than actual rates I achieve on a daily basis (600+KBps/45KBps). Of course, just as with benchmarks, they generally tend to work with some degree of accuracy to help you determine if something isn't doing what it is supposed to or vice versa.
