Arrgh! I've been waiting for Morrowind ever since I played Daggerfall. But I have finals in 2 weeks. And I have BGII and Torment and I haven't beat BGII. Hell, I haven't even installed Torment... What should I do?!?

Maybe I should wait until I do some upgrades to my computer first... At least Morrowind is out and looks awesome! I'm sure I'll get it pretty soon. Torment will just have to wait even though I've been dying to play it.

Making a new thread for my first impressions of the game that I posted to another forum. I thought it would be too large / too much info for this thread. If anyone wants to add impressions or get a decent idea of the game check it out.

Could those of you who say it runs "beautifully" or "smooth" on your system please elaborate on your setup? I've noticed slowdown when looking in certain directions with the default settings even. I have:

Windows XP
Asus A7V333
512mb ddr2700
XP 1800+
Geforce 3 Ti-500
SB Live Card

When I look at the sky or look around a lot near some buildings, the game gets choppy enough to be a little disappointing. Not like dungeon siege choppy though.

Whoops. I guess I'm so used to ignoring signatures that it's become like banner blindness. Hmmm. Maybe my standards are higher, because I just upgraded and assumed all games would run at 120 fps or something.

This is not Quake 3 for sure, both in hardware demand (this is much higher) and gameplay style. I hope my GF DDR 256 can handle the game, with turning down a lot of fancy doodads.
