Think I read it was a friend's car he was driving. I don't believe that he would drive anything more than 5 years old... but then I didn't think rich people committed petty theft. Oh well.

Incidentally, PBS (may have been Georgia only) was replaying some of the best of The Electric Company yesterday. I was flipping through and one of the skits featured Morgan Freeman. It was kind of odd to see him in his late 30s/early 40s with dark hair and everything. I've gotten so used to seeing him as the wizened gray actor.

Hard to believe he's 71.

I loved that show as a kid. I will always remember him as Easy Reader.

I saw him once at Bed Bath and Beyond in Bradenton FL.. I swear! He was down low looking for something when I walked by him in a cramped isle.. I might've startled him and he stood up and bumped into me. And I was like, "Holy crap you look like Morgan Freeman."

And he said, "If I was Morgan Freeman, wouldn't I be in Hollywood or something?"

And I said, "Maybe not."

And he said, "It was nice to meet you."

When he spoke, I became more certain that it was him.. His voice is very unique. I gave him his space, though. I think he has relatives in Sarasota.

Hopefully he's okay.. Haven't met many celebrities in real life.. but he was definitely polite.
