Good luck with the surgery. The only up side i can see is that when people ask about what you had surgery for you can say. "I broke my butt."

Today hasn't been a very good day. My incision is SOOOOO sore. (And itchy. But(t) that's a whole 'nother story.) All I've done is slept and/or lie on the couch and watch tv. I had every intention of getting up today and try to clean/straighten more, but I'm just achy and must have needed sleep. (An ATer is coming out to visit me next weekend, so I need to make sure the house is presentable!! We'll have to take pics when the ATer gets here. :D lol)

So.....my broken butt just feels sore and the incision sometimes makes me feel like some of the stitches are pulling. I want to be better now! :| *Stomps foot* (lightly) ;) lol

I fixed your obvious typo...
Hey, I could have done worse.

"All of ATOT is pulling it to your..............is pulling for your butt."

But I didn't go there. I would never say something crass like that.

Ouch!

Bruised mine a couple times & I have a friend who fractured hers & ultimately also had it removed so I sympathize.

Good luck & speedy recovery! :)

I'm REALLY disappointed in ATOT...not a single one of you has offered to "rub some cream" on her butt to help with the itching...
tsk-tsk-tsk...

Don't even start on me, I'm stressing out as it is!

For those of you that don't know, I moved in my house like a month or so ago. So, with fibromyalgia, arthritis, a bent tailbone and having surgery...getting completely settled has been a little difficult. thepd7 is coming to see me Saturday. My house is still messy and not completely together. :| So.....he's gonna have to see my clutter and I'm not happy about it. Damnit! lol

And as for cream, it's better that I not have any anyway. Gotta keep it as dry as possible in there. ;) Benedryl works just fine for that. :) Thanks for the thoughts, though, Boomer. lol

And thanks to everyone else for the well-wishes. I thought something was wrong with it and had to go in to the doc's office the other day, but found out everything is all good "down under". lol :)

My "normal" best advice is to "Hang in there," but since you've had your tail removed, that might be difficult...:D

Glad I could make you smile though!

thepd7 came to visit me. I have four pictures (two are basically the same) and he has some that he can share once he's home if he wishes. It was very nice to get to meet someone I've been talking to for quite a while. :) He was also very mindful of my sore booty. lol We went to dinner and I had to take my booty cushions (coccyx cushions) with me and it was pretty funny.

Him at Brad's restaurant in Pismo Beach, CA. (Not my cousin's restaurant.)

Saying bye numero uno.

Saying bye numero dos.

Ooooooh! A kiss on the cheek!

Update:

I went to the doc today. The bottom of my incision was still a little open ( ) so he had to put steri-strips on it, but it isn't infected, which is good. I have to see him in three weeks. That was basically the visit in a nutshell. :)

Update #3

I'm s-l-o-w-l-y getting better. The holes in my incision were refusing to close. I'm on my second round of antibiotics and the infection is finally gone. I saw my new primary care doc last week and he told me of the only thing he knew that would close it and I thought he was off his rocker. He told me to get honey and put it on the wound. It went back and forth for a couple seconds of me asking, "You mean eat it? Really? You mean put it on there and not eat it?!" He told me to buy 100% honey with nothing added and put a little on there. I thought he was crazy (as I said), but I was desperate for the incision to close. So...I went to the store and got some. After two days of putting a little on a q-tip and applying it to the incision, it started to close. The top (smaller) hole looks like it's completely closed and the bottom is getting there. It's still open, but soooo much better! Woohoo! lol I can't wait until it's completely healed so I can see if the surgery really helped. I can't tell now because the incision is still sore. :p

HAHA Yes, that he did.

Wow! I haven't been here since I posted my last response, I think. (some mod I am, right?) With the healing of my booty and trying to get settled in my place, I just haven't wanted to even bother with getting online. I'm almost completely healed. The last time there was a small tear was about 3 weeks ago and it's all good right now. It just takes 6-8 weeks to heal after every re-opening so....I still have a few more weeks. I'm feeling TONS better though, which is a big improvement. I hope y'all have been good and haven't caused (too) much trouble whilst I've been away. ;)

You've been NOTICEABLY absent...

For your punishment, I hereby sentence you to post some pics in the "sexiest person" thread...:p

Good to hear you're doing better.

You're entitled to some better days.
