The main reason Republicants don't want Donny playing with the 13th and 14th amendments by Executive Order, is because they know that when a Democratic president gets in, the first thing he's going to do is wallpaper the Second Amendment with executive orders. Eventually, it will be illegal to own a potato gun.

Republicants may be dumb, but they're not stupid.

It's been said, that once you open a can of worms, you always need a larger can to get them all back in.

But Dems wouldn't be able to get away with that with the courts being held by Republicans. If Trump did something like that, a guy could argue in front of the court that what's good for the goose is good for the gander, but the slanted conservative court could just as easily apply "Rule of law for thee, but not for me" logic to it.

They had similar problems with corrupt politicians and rigged courts in Ukraine, and solution they worked out is simply throw politicians into dumpsters.

Not really a perfect solution, and I hope it doesn't come to this in the US, but Republicans are hard at work to make it happen.

Actually I thought of that after the Jan Michael Vincent thread. Had me thinking about Air Wolf. A Bell 222 was what the Ceaușescus were riding in when they were apprehended. Pilot faked a mechanical issue to dump them on some road, no way he wanted to be seen as some kind of henchman. Later!
