it's a shame it didnt run u over
it's a shame that you are an asshat. Get over it, if you dont like hunting, then dont come in the post...as it was clearly stated "not for non hunters, etc." it amazes me how people are okay with butchering cows, fish, lamds, sheep, and what not but shoot a moose or deer and they get their panties all in a bunch!
i cant really go against killing animals for food consume... but if u r just killing them for fun thats not right... maybe im just living in a nutshelll...
I dont shoot animals for fun, I like to eat venison, moose, patridge, fish, etc.
It is healthier, and it keeps me form having to visit the supermarket too much...
why do you some of you people get in the op's sh!t? unless you are a
hardcore vegan you eat meat, and where the f*ck do you thing meat comes from? an animal.
and if anybody like beef jerky, try venison jerky - it is soooo goood. i will drive 200mi out of my city to get it up north.
iamtrout - i hope you are joking about how to store the meat. how do you store any meat? like Eli says, in a freezer. and your idea of how you would kill it (i hope you are joking) would cause much stress and pain to the moose. the way SaigonK killed it was nearly painless and it was probably dead by the time it hit the ground.
krnxpride83 - the op stated several times that he eats the meat, thus this is not killing for fun.
anno - as far as taking the pic first, the moose would probably hear the sound of the camera, depending on how close you are and possibley scare it away. animals senses are so much better adapted than ours because they live in a constant eat/be lunch for another predator so they are always on alert.
Eli - the meat won't be virtually free at first. over time if you keep up with it the price will come down. there is the price of the equipment, but if you know somebody who does hunt, you could probably buy some off them for a decent price.
SaigonK - you say the meat is really lean, is it lean like chicken/turkey? does it have a lot of cholesterol? do you prefer moose over deer?
