im glad hes making the movie. It should cement the Republican nominee in 2008 a victory and a continuation of a decade of Republican domination.
 My thoughts exactly 🙂

That's an interesting form of politics. Whichever party can point out the biggest moron among the two parties will win the election. Does that imply that we're allowing morons to represent our parties?
No, this isn't about how big of moron he is - it's about how many rabid leftist will eat up his spew and shout it from every hill...or under every bridge😉. I think there was a backlash against the RBH crowd this election cycle. It would be one thing if the left had distanced themselves from moore - but it seemed they embraced him and his hate and it spilled over into other things too. He alone didn't cause this however - it came from many parts of the left. If the left doesn't contain or distance these people from themselves - it'll be an easy political victory the next time around.

If Michael Moore was the democratic presidential candidate..... I dunno what I would do. Probably form my own political party.
We need a new major political party that doesn't pander to the religious right and stays away from the wacky left, like Michael Moore, as well. It needs to be a mix of the best centrist views from both Republicans and Democrats without reaching out to the fringe of either. Where's the party that frowns on abortion but is still Pro-Choice and pro-sex education? A party that also supports stem-cell research? The party that doesn't want to tax the crap out of you and install all kinds of social programs? A party that supports lassez faire economics? The party that's up for copyright reform and supports fair use? A party who wants to fund research into alternative fuels on a large scale?Originally posted by: bamacre

We need a Team AT to help get a real presidential candidate nominated and supported. That would be kick-ass!

It's funny how elitest you all are during your circle jerks to think everyone thinks moore is sleazy.
Moore scares you just admit it, he almost helped take down the true sleaze.
No matter how much insulting his weight and character you think discredits the facts he layed on the table,
to those who were listening or actually saw it, this talk makes you look like judgemental asses.

I just lost a whole lot of respect for Michael Moore (not that I had a lot to begin with).
On national tv (and sold on DVD), Michael Moore insulted John McCain, comparing McCain's inprisonment in the "Hanoi Hilton" to a stay at a Motel 6. Then afterwards he said McCain was "out of his fvcking mind."
That's an insult not only to McCain, but to anyone who has ever put on the uniform. Not only that but McCain is one of the most popular Congressmen. How are we supposed to get more people like McCain in our government when people like MM say things like this?
My only enjoyment was watching then-Gov GWB rip on MM, filling the room with laughter at MM's expense. And I don't even like Bush.
He should do one on the American Taliban.Originally posted by: CADsortaGUY
