I'm off today then work 12 hour shifts right through till next week, so I'll probably go bring her some flowers today. I could get them delivered on Saturday but that just feels so impersonal imo. And given everybody probably has the same idea you probably have to arrange that way ahead of time.

I ordered her flowers online yesterday to be delivered Saturday. I just googled florists in her town and went on their website and placed the order. It was the least I could do, seriously, I didn't even have to get up from my desk.

My Mom lives in Florida and I'm in California so there is no way I'm delivering anything in person.

Oh yeah, that's different. I live in same city. What's funny is my birthday sometimes even falls on mother's day, so the gifts just cancel out. :awe: Guess it's the thought that counts lol.

Ended up picking up flowers at the mall and I'll bring them to her this evening. I set them under the fluorescent lights in my server room, so they might even open up. Though it's probably not going to be there long enough but can't hurt.
