This is why I want the death penalty in Canada (I know it's not in Canada, but you'll find such cases here). There are times when I look at the actions of a person and say "I do not want you in my society, I do not want to forgive".
For a person, without mental illness, to knowingly and willingly commit such acts is beyond forgiveness.
What's the difference? Give them the death penalty & they will spend 20 years sitting in prison waiting out all the endless appeals, before let off on a technicality. Might as well just give them 20 years and save the additional expenses.
