over my two week ban, i attempted to get in contact with the mod who banned me, and no contact was established between me and that mod ever. i found this poor. Yes i had contact with a mod who was nice enough to try and help me, but he wasnt the one who banned me.

i know they dont get paid to do this, but i feel there should be a better established communication trail... specifically because only one mod knows specifically why they were banned.

Did it ever occur to you that I did not want to talk to you ?

Actually, I think most mods DON'T get paid at all! This is why even if I don't agree with what they do, I still deeply respect them. :beer:

great professionalism.

its not that you dont WANT to talk to me, its that mybanning, although justified, had you actually taken the time to talk to me, and listen a little you would have understood... but no, you ignore it

hell i sent FIVE emails, yes FIVE emails the day i was supposed to be unbanned because one of the other mods told me to email you guys when i was supposed to be unbanned, yet i wasnt until today.
 
When I had my week off, I had to send a PM to a known mod here at another forum 😉 to get me unbanned the day after my vacation time was up. Granted, this was at the time of the whole Rollo/AEG blowout. In any case the point stands - if you're going to do a job, do it right.

I see no problem with a MOD who does not want to get involved in something that 99% of the time will turn out to be a talk the MOD cannot win@@@!!

Worse of all that talk would have been posted all over the Forums and such...so quite frankly you put the mOD in a no win situation!!

Some people just cannot be reasoned with at all...doesn`t matter what you say or do.,..things will always get twisted!!

If your one of those 9/11 conspiracy guys I can understand why no MOD should have to talk if they choose not too...

Interesting how you call into question the MOS`s professionalism...Hell..I would have banned you again for 2 more weeks just out of principle....

I can understand why the MOD didn`t want to talk with you...too funyee..rofl

I see no problem with a MOD who does not want to get involved in something that 99% of the time will turn out to be a talk the MOD cannot win@@@!!

But usually the 'nice' mod helps me sort any issues out :beer:

I'm trying not to get banned as a preemptive strike against the matter tho 😉

In sent two PM's to mods yesterday, with zero replies. They do what they want, when they want. Few, if any, are helpful at all. Power corrupts.

Personally if I was a mod.....I wouldn`t want our conversations being plastered all over these forums....thus no need to respond!

Some questions require no response!

I would like to add that it is never wise to question mods in a public way like this even if you get no response from PM's and emails.

Nothing will get you banned on ANY board quicker than calling out a mod. 😉
