I never said anything about a "reminder" did I? I only check the gold boxes when there is something good posted. That's not a reminder. That's a notification, announcement, whatever you want to call it. That's what the Hot Deals forum is all about.

Your stupidity and lack of a rational thought-process is amazing. If you really want to reduce clutter in this forum topic, why did you make 2 new threads whining about this? If you want to improve the forum, do us all a favor and go away! Thank you, have a nice day!

wrong! this thread has a lot of USEFUL info about a product which many anandtechers use. even though i have a es7006en that i think stinks, i was GLAD to see this thread, beacuse it may have some useful tips not mentioned in the manual, as is usually the case.

Great, so then the thread should not be "LOCKED" but "MOVED" to "DEAL DISCUSSION" where by ANANDTECH's definition it belongs.

Unclebud.... You are correct sir!!! Sorry, I was reading FW board at the same time. They have a Deal Discussion section over there. So then maybe a suggestion for Anandtech, is to make a Deal Discussion area for discussions like the Gold Box etc.? I had too many windows open at the same time.....
