I just recieved my 2400+ mobile AQYFA stepping and a $43 NF7 Newegg refurb! It effortlessly does 11x200 on 1.6V, and may not even require that much voltage.

Unfortunately I have to wait until my HSF arrives before I can see what it can really do. I ordered an SLK-700 w/ TMD fan because I'm cheap, but I think it might take an SP-97 to get all the speed out of this Barton.

... having problems now ...

This chip drops my vcore drastically...

After messing with this chip, I may have damaged it :p

I'm unable to sustain P95 at my previous settings.

I'm down to 10 x 221 right now, and voltage is still to high for my liking...

so,, no final results yet !

well ,,, I was messing around with the blend test

I dropped my multi and upped my fsb to see how high I could 'blend'.
Then when put previous oc back, P95 would fail. (2.5g)

I'm getting a .1v drop in vcore on P95 load.

Is my PS losing its punch..?
(Antec 430)
_____-- Edit ___________
I ran p95 at stock settings over 15 hrs OK.
Gonna see how far it goes again now ...

Hey Noid, did you clear CMOS and then readjust your settings before going back to your original stable OC? That makes a huge difference sometimes. Good luck!

Ok got my 2400+m in today and I've been tinkering with it for a while. Like uo7, I'm limited because of crap ram(Corsair Value Pc2700).
From previous OC tests my RAM will do 180 max prime stable. So I'm using 180 again since I know that works.

Currently I'm at 180x13=2.35ghz@1.7vcore on the NF7-S. I might be able to lower the core a little lower but I haven't tried yet. It is sitting at 32 degree idle w/ a TT Silent Boost. I'll post later with more results after I Prime it. It did 3dmark2k1 and 2k3 without a hitch though.

According to this thread, people have been able to get these to 2.6-2.7 on air. Very sweet for $77:D

Edit: Settings above failed Prime after about 6 hours. Dropping RAM down to spec(166) and multi at 14@1.75. See how that works out.
ReEdit: Read up on totally clearing CMOS on the Nf7-s. Trying 180x13 again...
ReEditx2: Finally got Prime stable on 166x14@1.8(1.75 actual) 180fsb passed memtest but crapped out in Prime. It'll work til I get better RAM...

I couldn't wait until the weekend, so I slapped everything together last night. :p Mobile 2400+ with Thermalright ALX-800 and 50cfm Sunon, DFI Ultra Infinity A+, 2x512MB BH-5, 2x36GB Raptors in RAID 0, XP Pro. I installed XP with default cpu (13.5x133, 1.45 vcore) and mem settings and, after the drivers and updates install, went ahead with 11x200 for 2.2GHz (1.65 vcore). Played around with it a bit and everything seemed peachy, so I decided to try 2.2GHz from the 10x220 angle(still using 1.65 vcore, bumped vdimm to 2.8 using 1:1 ratio). Everything still seemed peachy and I got my highest HD Tach score to date with the Raptors, but I wasn't able to really stress-test the cpu and mem cuz by that time I needed to rack out. I'm gonna run Prime95 and Memtest tonight to see if it's truly stable and, if it is, I'll try for 2.42GHz with 11x220. I'll post more results when I have them.

Thanks Noid! Glad you got your OC stable again. Well, to get completely Prime95 stable at 10x220 I had to up vdimm to 2.9 BUT I was actually able to lower vcore to 1.6 and it's looking good so far! Idling at 37.5C right now, and peaked at 47C with Prime95. I'll try to make it to 11x220 this weekend. :)
