Mmmmm, beef jerky.

Belgian Waffler
I have a bag of home made teriyaki beef jerky sitting here on my desk, and I'm trying desperately hard not to eat all of it. 🙁

Wild Bills, and Mike's Desert Fire Hot are the best jerkys I've had. Any kind of dried meat's pretty tasty, but I've gotta go with the beef if given a choice.

Brought some Buffalo jerky back from Jackson, WY. Sitting in the fridge waiting for me to get home from work. Mmmm....

I almost bought some turkey jerky yesterday, but then I decided that beef was really where it's at.

My GF and I were in Big Lots! the other day and stared in bewilderment at the Ham Jerky package that was dangling off the aisle near the cleaning products. I knew it was a low-rent store but man!

omfg, I love you. I just remembered my wife bought me a bag of jerky the other night and I hid it for later eating. I'm so hungry right now...

/me dashes to get his jerky on.

I really like Big John's Beef Jerky, it's a little pricey but I like to get it a couple 1lb bags every now and then

I can buy buffalo jerky on the way home from work. It's pretty good stuff.
Why is yours refrigerated?

that's the problem. open up a bag of jerkey and it's a race to the bottom.

You're telling me! This batch turned out good, and was a lot quicker than my last batch (I think I made too much that time). Maybe a little over-dry, but still real good. I had to remove the bag from sight and stow it in a drawer, otherwise it wouldn't last the day.

I love Jerky. The only thing I can get locally is Jack Links but it'll do.

BTW, Slim Jims aren't Jerky. They're sausages.

And I think you are using the term "sausage" loosely there.

I've found chinese jerky is better (who knows, it might be poisonous, but I'm going off of pure taste/texture here). The meat is less salty, more tender, and they use whole pieces of meat, it isn't processed. There are also a variety of sweet jerkies like pork jerky with a fruit glaze, it's actually very good

I like the salt, and despise sweet jerky. Sweet meat reminds me of meat that's gone off. Probably not too far from the mark with Chinese jerky :^D
