And I know absolutely no one cares.
But the big news is.... Trump gave Mitt his support.
Wonder why?
Because Mitt is one republican that most likely would have challenged Trump come 2020.
But now, Mitt will be a happy little senate camper and pose no threat to Donald.
As least, that is the thinking if Mitt should win his senate seat.
But Trump?
Soooo thinned skinned.
Such a worry wart.
So insecure.
Such a quivering bowl of jello.
It should be obvious that Trump was having horrific night sweats with the very thought
that Mitt COULD, JUST MIGHT challenge Donald in 2020.
So naturally, Donald Trump was only too happy to give Mitt his full support.

I figured it out.
If we really want to do away with Trump, get him out of our politics, make him go back to the world of cheating in the private sector from which he came from, then we have a simple solution.
Someone just need sneak up behind Donald Trump and yell BOO!
Trump would be out on his ass and run like a deer dodging a shotgun.
Here we've been doing the Russian thing, the tax return thing, the sexual scandal thing and all we really need to do is just yell BOO, and Trump will be gone.
Such a pussy. (No offense to cats.)

Or Mitt raising his profile by being a Senator gives him a better position to challenge Trump in 2020. Assuming Donald makes it that far...

Good, he seems like a standup and principled guy and the Senate could use more with his character even if you disagree with his politics. A race with two honorable people in it like Obama-McCain or Obama-Romney almost seems quaint nowadays.

Romney - yet another rich boy asshole who coasted along due to his family's name and influence. No thanks.

Mitt isn't going to be the savior of the flaming pile of garbage known as the GOP.

lol.

I'm curious how far Romney's poll numbers will drop after that Trump endorsement (which Romney accepted.)

Mr. 47% , the champion of the small guy.

Who paid 14% in federal income tax when he ran for Prez & exploits offshore tax havens to the max. He did kinda omit a few years' tax returns from disclosure, as well.

It would be nice to see Congressperson Mia Love win the Senate seat. I'm not a huge fan of Romney. So i'll look into supporting Forbush, Love or Liljenquist.

Is he planning on pushing through universal healthcare and closing corporate tax loop holes like he did in MA while governor?

I'm still wondering if anybody ever told him that the delicious pastry he sampled but didn't know what it was called during one of his photo ops was a doughnut, not that he'd care though.

A guy whose life and lifestyle is that distant from the everyday lives of the peasants he wishes to lord over can't possibly ever fulfill their down to earth wants and needs because he has no empathy, no real idea how these folks have survived living one paycheck away from foreclosure and poverty.

Lol. Funniest thing I've read in a long time. Mitch is a stand up principled guy. I remember watching him pitch getting rid of the estate tax to poor people with the pitch that it would somehow help them when it directly hurts them.

Republicans seem to have an endless supply of candidates from the sewer. How like Clinton, running for personal ambition and ego, it must come from wearing magic underwear.
