I went to a doctor and all he did was suck blood from my neck.

If you read this show review and comments, it's not surprising this happened. It was sad to read that stuff since I've been a big fan for many years. I've seen him multiple times.

Seriously. I'll go get Lewis, you find Zakk.

You know, I'm taking a different perspective on this the more I read. I think he just really thought he could be great and pushed himself so hard that he felt like he needed something to take the pressure off of himself. I can completely understand this. However, I have found mental means within myself to get around these pressures, so it's not as big of a deal to me.

I'm still sad, but I think he was just trying to be as good as he could be and mistakenly pushed himself too far. I feel terrible for him and for his loved ones.

R.I.P. - Mitch Hedberg

In a way. Then again, there's a good chance he had developed serious dependences on pills and other drugs. As you get more fame and money, the partying and can easily take off (a la Chris Farley style). From some of the show reviews I've seen, he was becoming out of control and probably thought he could get away with most. At some point, he crossed a line where he was getting paid to go on stage completely obliterated. It might have bothered him inside, but that's nothing a friend with pills or some alcohol wont solve. He thought he could get away with it and probably was. Over time, the pills took over.

We loved you Mitch.
