What purpose is served by not?
People like you want to throw molotov cocktails at him.
What purpose is served by not?
Possibly to protect him and his family from potential harm? Just guessing though. 🙄
What purpose is served by not?
Aaaaaaaaaaaaannnd the hearts of the collective race-baiters all across America fell in to their stomach with this newest information.
The kid didn't deserve to lose his life, but my guesstimate is that 94.3% of America lost their sympathy for the kid when they find out he was your run of the mill punk dirtbag.
For almost a week?
As long as death threats are being made then for as long as needed. So I do agree with not releasing the officers name still at this point. It is a valid safety concern.
He had to relocate his family to a safe place for an extended period of unknown duration...how long should this take to suit your "sensibilities"?For almost a week?
So pretty much the news media is already digging for info on this cop.

It can tell us a lot about the officer. Is there a history of police abuse by this officer? Has this officer been reprimanded for excessive force? Does he belong to the KKK?? I mean there is a lot of information that can be found out once we know who the shooter is.
His (the cop) name is out now, so at some point someone will eventually find his photo online and post it. So pretty much the news media is already digging for info on this cop. It will come out eventually.
They already were. We the people do not deserve to know his name because there's nothing we should do with it until he gets his day in court. It's like people have learned nothing from the last few high profile public outrage motivated court cases.
Police Chief stated in his news conference he had no record of any disciplinary action; i know that doesn't fit your agenda here but oh well
At this point I don't believe anything that comes out of that police department. They are trying to cover their ass, and moving at a snails pace bungling things on purpose as they go.
Damn, the kid was a thug. What the fuck is wrong with the police department not releasing this before? Good god, why in the hell would they hold onto this while the city burns? The kid just committed a felony ON camera and the cops don't release it. Makes utterly no sense whatsoever.
He was suspected, Michael Brown didn't get his day in court now did he? Thats Bullshit.

This is not about Brown being guilty or not. It's about him matching the description of a suspect involved in a recent robbery in the area which would help explain why Brown was stopped in the first place.Oh really? So its ok to claim that was Michael Brown stealing cigars and crucify him in the media before anyone knows for certain that was in fact him?? They said he fit the description but that the pictures didn't look exactly like him. He was suspected, Michael Brown didn't get his day in court now did he? He had all of his info displayed out there by the police while hiding the police officers info. Thats Bullshit.

No, you are inventing this giant narrative how its perfectly ok that he was shot multiple times in the street, simply because he might have robbed a convenience store.
Meanwhile, the actual person who used a gun to end another person's life was protected. It took days to get the name of this cop. People protesting were met with force. The police had the right, and the responsibility to make this not happen, and they fucked it up at every chance, and people like you blame the victim, and blame the people stand up for them, simply because you feel they should be held to higher standard then someone who kills a kid.
For fucks sake, you blame Johnson and his "agenda" after watching his friend shot down in the street like an animal. But the police "agenda" of not releasing the name of the cop, oh well.
Always some idiot who stands up for police at every chance.
People lost sympathy for the kid a lot earlier then that when they found it he was black. For most of america, that is all that matters.
The only thing in doubt here is where Brown was shot, imo. And the coroner will know the truth about that.
If Brown was shot near the car and then ran and fell. Case closed. The officer's story combined with the robbery being the reason for the stop, and the shots occurring near the car, are enough to keep the officer out of jail.
If Brown ran first, and then was shot and killed, that would be bad news for the cop. he would be guilty of a felony murder. Not murder one, though.

They released his name already.. so its done. He is a fucking officer, so please, officers know that their lives are always in danger..that is the job they signed up for. So I don't buy that this was the reason for holding back his name.
The medical report will go a long way in determining guilt or innocence. Either way, I hope justice is done.the report is going to be big.
