"Voting for him may or may not indicate that you are also those things."

I am not confused at all. Maybe you are the one that is confused.

If you're not confused, then you voted for a racist fascist twice on purpose. Which clearly makes you shitty.

Dont forget all the Bs and antics you defended as well.

You "laff" because you lack the self-awareness, desire, or mental strength to judge yourself or others objectively. Hope you enjoyed Trump making a fool of you all this time.

You see them being the fattest state as a drawback. I see it as a feature. The wife and I look like movie stars walking around that place.

I believe it, but at least you can revel in your neighbors being unhealthy.

I'm really sorry you hate people because of where they live or their lack of education. Just keep in mind when you talk about how much you hate people from Mississippi, 38% of the people you hate are black.

Don't be too sorry, confusing pity as hate makes you look unimaginative and boring. Playing the race card already though, man you are going to fit in great! Nice of you to think of the poor brown folks though. You, someone who buys into right wing politics, gleeful about moving to a still rigidly segregated state that sports the worst education, healthcare and crime levels in the country, while leading in teen pregnancy and poverty - but I'm the racist for being aware of their ongoing plight? Hahaha oh you

Like I said, unimaginative and boring.

Right, I was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt. I don't necessarily think you are racist or fascist. I do, however, think you don't see Trump for who he really is.
Almost everyone sees Trump for who and what he is, and about half choose to ignore the negatives.

Seriously, what is wrong with you? You're actually angry because of where I choose to live. How fucked up is that? You've built this fantasy in your mind that the place is the seventh circle of hell and you're angry that someone would willingly live there.
I actually do feel sorry for you. You're clinging to foolish hate for no reason, with no hope of ever being vindicated, and likely not the intellect to ever see the futility of your reasoning. Go live your life, forget about mine, because you are clearly not someone who's advice I would ever listen to. Everything you say is built on the foolish belief that you have something of value to add to the conversation, that you have some insight that's valuable, you don't. Your brand of bigotry is no better than any other.

Population of three million, what's not to love?
As long as my gardener and maid don't chew tobacco, I'll be a happy guy.
I remember only one thing from my swift drive through Mississippi in the 1960's: An old skinny black man coming up to our car and begging repeatedly, "whiskey... whiskey... whiskey?" That's it, that's all he said. We were just 20 YO "kids." We weren't laughing. It was pretty appalling/shocking.

Add that to the heat & hurricanes (and that's likely to only keep getting worse) and I have to say you'd have to pay me to live there.

I don't care where you choose to live.

Your statement in post#5 is disconcerting. It would seem that you love that the south mis-appropriates it's funds.

Have you driven around the city you live in? Head on down to the Ashby exit off of 80. If you're not sure where that is just follow the smell.
It gets just as hot here as it does in the south.
It's hard for me to believe that a fellow that lives in a 100 year old house with a rock foundation in earthquake country is worried about a big storm. You're riding the crest of the disaster wave telling me I shouldn't sit on the beach because sand is dangerous.

I get it, you fellows all hate the south because you see at as run by republican's. You hate the government, you hate the people, you hate the way they live. I went there, I liked what a saw, I liked the people I met, I liked the clean sparsely populated city I'm moving to. I like acre lots and low housing prices. I like the beautiful lush green country, did I mention it's not crowded? It's not crowded, there isn't a rush 3 hours like here in CA. I didn't see a single homeless camp, I never once saw human shit on the sidewalk and I never saw someone having a shit at the bus stop.

I'm going to say it again, I find it bazar that you fellows are so worked up over my choice of places to live. It's not rational.

Sure.

Angry? Please. I've been to Mississippi, no imagination required. Did I tell you I thought it was on par with Mogadishu or something? I think you're projecting again, you've built up this fantasy about your chosen shithole, getting butthurt when a post cites something that supports that place being a shithole. Your indifference to the realities of life there strike me as you being indifferent to the politics that made it that way, which reminds me of the indifference you have towards people who commit treason. I suppose it's slightly sad with people like you moving there means less of a chance of the place actually improving.

I actually do feel sorry for you. You're clinging to foolish hate for no reason, with no hope of ever being vindicated, and likely not the intellect to ever see the futility of your reasoning.

This makes me think you've never encountered actual hate, though I think it's hilarious a person trying to move to Mississippi is questioning my intellect. Your post history here kinda prevents vindication entering into it. Reasoning? Hey now, probably shouldn't be using terms you don't understand. You're the guy who 'reasoned' insurrectionists were just loud protestors IIRC.

There there, let it all out. Advice? Haha I'll put my posts in this forum up against any of yours, any day of the week, twice on Sundays. Would you like to play a game of comparison? We could use the Search function, see how many times have your posts been called out as guilty of promoting bigotry, foolish beliefs, and which ones provided topical insights.

I don't have a brand of bigotry, I have a profound distaste for liars and the agendas they pursue, especially when it results in others getting screwed. Poseurs are irritating, and if they bristle and cry in the presence of factual data, well I guess that's their problem. To be clear, Miss is the real topic here, not you.

I think you're just cheap, and/or concerned about retirement funds. The super low cost of living there is what hooked you, and you can ignore all the problems there as long you can afford it, but would rather pretend Mississippi offers something unique you can't find in other southern red states. Whatever man, you do you, but if you don't want people commenting on your life decisions maybe don't offer them up on the internet to begin with.

So as not to shit on MS too much, my only real advice is for anyone and everyone visit Clarksdale someday, just to hit up Abe's BBQ. Worth it.

As a black man who could be attacked just for jogging in a neighborhood where hoards of crackers don't think I belong, I'll stay here in PA. Close to the populated cities, out of the likes of Berks County.

I wouldn't feel the love you would
Oh glorious Berks County. Outside of Reading proper, it's Pennsytucky.

I'm not worked up over it, I just don't want to live where there are so many numbskulls. I don't care where you choose to live. I can't imagine myself living in a red state.

My craftsman house is old but it has a charm I don't see in modern construction.

I haven't promoted either of those.

Here is the deal, at the beginning of the campaign Donald J Trump started in no uncertain terms to espouse his fascist ideals, you like them, you voted for them.

He put them into action in several ways and went to destroy democracy itself and you voted for him again. You don't get to separate that from your person, that is who you ARE!

Now tell me, what do you call a man who supports fascist ideals?

You call him what he is, a fascist.

You are a fascist.

Period.

No, he laughs because he's a self righteous narcissistic sociopath which is what it takes to be a fascist, either that or life long indoctrination, in his case... end result same, process doesn't really matter.

You are entitled to your opinion no matter how wrong it is.

I'll refrain from calling you what you are.

You consider people with opinions a disease? Well, that fits with the fascist ideals you hold so very dear.
On the plus side, at least I have reading comprehension. Or did you ignore the two qualifying terms in the foolish belief that no one else would notice?

An observable fact or a statement of undeniable truth is not an opinion.

You can call me whatever you want but the fact remains that a man that supports and votes for fascist ideals IS, per definition and undeniably so by all and every ways to determine it, a fascist.

I get that you don't like it and want to deny reality as is, you're accustomed to playing pretend that reality is not actually real and that you are what your fantasia tells you you are but there is no escape.

If you were the one observing yourself from the outside you'd agree with me fully. A man does not espouse fascist ideals without being fascist.

No you most certainly do not, you are the "who me" moron that doesn't even get what he himself writes most of the time.

Why would I give a fuck about a fascists qualifying terms? You voted for fascism twice... fuck off.

I agree with you, the South is nice. I choose to live in Oklahoma, even though I could get a job anywhere in the country within a month. Mississippi is pretty, but also pretty dysfunctional. For me personally, I think Oklahoma is about as redneck as I can take, and the true "deep south" is quite a bit more redneck, IMHO. I still enjoy visiting and I've worked with many people from Alabama and Mississippi who are fine people. But if you didn't notice some obvious signs of racism, you were ignoring them or in a very isolated area,
