The former governor just released all his text messages related to the investigation. Hopefully Favre is dumb enough to take this to trial so that everything is out in the open. :tearsofjoy:

Favre also came out recently to boycott Fox News for firing Tucker lolol

Of course, a piece of white trash who steals millions from welfare is a big Tucker fan. What a piece of shit that guy is.

AG of Texas Ken Paxton has been indicted for 7 years with no trial. There's your white privilege. Meanwhile Crystal Mason......

It took 6 years after being charged to bring R Kelly to trial the first time around, when he was acquitted, and 3 years the second time when he was convicted. Wheels of justice turn slowly for anyone with enough money to slow them down.

It took 6 years not because R. Kelly stalled but a primary witness refused to testify and a search warrant was invalidated.

The judge basically bitchslapped this fucking dipshit every which way, by first saying the stuff Sharpe said can't even be defamation because he was deliberately using over the top language (aka, you know, the shit that sports media people spout all the time) and even said Favre hadn't been convicted of a crime, but then basically was like "oh and also, everyone already believes you did all this shit because of, you know, everything that's already come out, including investigations, lawsuits, your own text messages and you paying back the money paid to you"

"The Court also acknowledges that from the reports in the public arena after government investigations, forensic audits, civil litigation, Favre's text messages, and Favre's own implicit admission by returning $1.1 million dollars to the State, it appears to be widely believed that the money obtained by Favre for himself and USM came from welfare funds," Starrett wrote in his dismissal.
And then the cherry on top by really just sticking it to this sleazebag:

"Although the funds may have come from the State of Mississippi, such TANF funds were intended to go to poverty-stricken families, not to fund the construction of a college volleyball [facility]."

Maybe Favre can co-host so him and Skip can whine about it like the worthless fucking dipshits they are.

an update on this story....and yeah, it's all fucked up

But just over a year after she secured journalism’s top award for exposing how $77 million in federal welfare funds went to athletes, cronies and pet projects, she and her editor, Adam Ganucheau, are contemplating what to pack for an extended stay behind bars. Sued for defamation by the state’s former governor — a top subject of their reporting — they have been hit with a court order requiring them to turn over internal files including the names of confidential sources.

The welfare queen blames it on Parkinson's disease. Years ago, he said he's had hundreds of concussions as a football player.

If an athlete has been subjected to traumatic brain injuries since they were a teenager, and those injuries destroyed his brain so much that he no longer had the agency to stop playing and getting injured further, is it the athlete’s fault, or is the sport and the culture around them?

Have you guys seen Aaron Hernandez’s brain?

(CTE is indeed a devastating disease.)

I know you aren't suggesting that dozens hundreds of concussions, and millions of dollars earned, explains why Favre had to steal MS welfare funds?
