I liked MI:2. Great Hans Zimmer OST.
Honestly, I didn't realize it was an HZ score until I bought his CD (Wings of a Film).
wait, what? people liked MI1-2 and not 3?
three is the only one that even vaguely qualifies as cinema. tom cruise, for once, actually seemed pretty into it, and phillip seymore hoffman was great, and the script was leagues ahead of the others.
MI1 was decent. MI2 was horrible. MI3 was bad, but not as bad as 2. Really, the Tom Cruise "Mission Impossible" movies are Mission Impossible in name only, sharing few if any traits with the TV show they are allegedly based on.
Oh, and the worst thing about MI3 wasn't the face switching, it was the fact that somehow putting on a mask caused Tom Cruise to grow from 5' 4" tall to like 6' 1". Even a perfect facial mask couldn't hide the fact that the protagonist is 9" shorter than the antagonist.
I'll watch it just for Simon Pegg
JJ Abrams was writer for MI:4, so it should be good.
Huh? Why didn't people like 3? 3 was solid.
2 was a fucking explosion-everywhere garbage. If you disliked 3, 2 is a pile of Miachel Bay shit wannabe by John Woo.
he also directed the 3rd one. I thought the 3rd one was much much better than the 2nd one (holy crappy use of slow-mo). But I don't like how JJ Abrams always leaves out a key piece. Such as the rabbit's ear - the entire movie is about getting the rabbits ear back, but we never find out what the rabbit's ear is.
Just like howThe Dude never gets his rug back!
