Consider me a freeloading bragger then. I like my websites ad free. I remember when AT had those siezure inducing ads.

I clicked on it to see what the price was. Their bundle price is pretty good, but then I read reviews of it and lost interest.

As for those saying "block ads" I think that's ridiculous. I like my Anandtech (and countless other sites) free-of-charge. If everyone blocked adds, there'd be no websites like this to enjoy.

I didn't block ads here until the ad server was hacked and gave me malware

Exactly. Obnoxious ads that distract is a real, tangible benefit for the user.

PS, I went actively searching for animated gif ads to embed in this reply to prove my point, but I couldn't find any! All I found were flash ads, which sadly can't be embedded. I had multiple tabs open with multiple flash ads playing in each tab, and my computer and internet connection started lagging. Fuck that shit!
