Anyone else find it strange and kind of disturbing that they are advertizing this on Anandtech? Of all the message boards around I find this one the least likely to have teen age girls posting or viewing?

I haven't seen any ads for that. Mostly just ads for that Sony camera and IBM. Aren't most internet ads targeted?

Maybe AT's ad service thinks you're a pedo, OP...

As for those saying "block ads" I think that's ridiculous. I like my Anandtech (and countless other sites) free-of-charge. If everyone blocked adds, there'd be no websites like this to enjoy.

Fortunately other people still look at ads, so I can continue to block them. It's win-win! Except for the other people.

On Anandtech I only block flash ads and animated gifs, so it's not my fault 98% of their ads get blocked. Most other sites get 100% of their ads blocked.
