I wonder why this forum has sort of self-selected to have few right-wingers? I was apprehensive when I first dipped my toe in the waters a year or so ago that I would be met with a barrage of Trumpers, like in real life, and I live in NJ. :(
We used to have a lot more, but as they've further departed from reality they've come to view this as a "far left echo chamber" (it's not, they just don't know what a leftist is, let alone a far leftist).

ivwshane threw out a good answer to this. Somebody else mentioned "Right wing echo chambers", and I"m wondering if it would be worth my time to insert myself -- and assert myself -- in such places on the internet.

I just think it's worthless trying to have any sort of reasoned dialog with a group whose leader has spawned something north of 50,000 documented Lies. I think it's a pretty good rule of thumb: there's no usefulness in having any sort of constructive exchange with people who deny the criminality of January 6 while placing their faith in a Criminal and a Liar.

It points up the danger of the times: when it seems that the only sort of exchange worth time and trouble is in the currency of hot lead. Lead -- that's "Pb". Leadership? None from the Criminal-in-Chief or any of his cabinet. Rubio is the only one who seems up to the job, but he supports the Criminal. They're all a bunch of spineless weasels.

Let me ask anyone this question. Perhaps the GOP would have a more balanced view if the opposition wrote letters to them. But in these times, would you SIGN such a letter? Would you provide your name and return address? Their Fearless Leader takes retribution on anyone who opposes him. Would you worry about your Social Security check? Or unnecessary trouble from a directed tax audit?
Go watch r/conservative, its bonkers, u wanna see an echo chamber thats a good one

The silence from the AnandTech conservatives who couldn't wait to jump into the Charlie Kirk thread is deafening.
These politicals murders didn't affect their side, and more importantly, don't allow them to openly call for the murder of liberals and outright civil war.

So they don't give one fuck about these murders. These murders get a big ol "meh".

If anything, they're probably quietly thinking "it's a good start, shame he got caught so early". We know who they are, they revel in death.

this is your first post in this thread

why did you feel so meh about it until today?

...as opposed to you who made your first post in this thread AFTER nickqt made his, and you, as opposed to nickqt, have contributed nothing aside from trolling to this thread.

I don't participate in a lot of threads, which is why that was my first post in this thread. I brought up the fact that Republicans were also jumping up and down trying to blame librruls for that murder before it was discovered that it was yet again another fascist shitbag right-wing fuck killing political opponents.

I'm sure if I go back and re-read this thread I'll see that you posted because you were just as upset about a Democrat being assassinated as you have been about someone who was Pro 2A and anti-apathy being assassinated, I'm sure.

Thanks for stopping by.

Ben Meiselas supports your point quite well:
