Not if you believe what you spout. Bill Gates had a quarter century of being an evil, greedy, aggressive capitalist before he retired and turned philanthropist, and the world's a much better place for it. If you are a true believer, you would be spending that excess money on good works way before you accumulate even one million dollars. How can you justify holding onto a million dollars when there is so much need in the world? No one needs a million dollars, that's just selfish greed. How can such an intelligent, enlightened person as yourself, barely even the same species as the rest of us, be so greedy?

Otherwise, every greedy capitalist at whom you sneer is merely a philanthropist building up his fortune to do good works, just like Bill Gates. Just as you claim to be aspiring.

I honestly don't think the problem is with the millionaires. The problem is with what these wealthy people do with the money. I want an estate tax of 95% on any inheritance that goes over the standard of living per year times the expected age of the person. Every American from birth should have to work for what they get, regardless(irregardless, if you prefer) of who their parents were.
 
Bleeding heart whiners who feel guilty about having more money. Stupid hypocrites are free to donate as much money as they like to the government. Instead, they hire expensive accountants to find every possible loophole, then whine that everyone's taxes should go up. Whiny hypocrites.

So, all the hard work I put in to earn money to make sure my kids inherit the wealth I create should instead go to ..... the government so it can hand it out to losers who do nothing to earn it? Brilliant.

By your logic, my kids have no right to the fruits of my labor, but yet other random people do have the right to the fruits of my labor (by way of the government)...... more liberal brilliant thinking.

I think you're just ignorant if you think any of your tax dollars go to giving others the fruit of your labor. More likely, your tax and fica dollars go to making sure that person doesn't realize what is out there. No, your kids don't really have the right to the fruit of your labor. They are ungrateful swing, they have the fruit to your kindness. Be it college tuition or just a place to sleep.

If you truly believe what you wrote then the government would not need to tax anyone that much to begin with since there should be no welfare or any other handouts and entitlements since people should have to work for what they get. And after they worked so hard why shouldn't they get to keep it?

Again I'll say it. The Tea party is so against the Earned Income Credit for having a child, yet they all keep claiming that credit on their taxes... why is that? Some of them are on unemployment yet are so against giving government money away to people not working, why is that?

I could live my life making 35k a year and be perfectly happy, investing in what I need. It's not as simple as liberal vs. conservative in this age as they are largely the same, not be some paranoid conspiracy but by the inability for most voters to form a coherent thought.

The money 'stolen' from the rich should go to education and educational opportunities for American workers. Any wealth earned by anyone in America is due to the education and upbringing of those they employ. Why is it wrong to take 95% of their wealth to create what they created in their lives? Inheritance won't create that, only education and competition can create that.

Because it's the same tired excuse they give every time people like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet say they wouldn't mind higher taxes. Yet they don't use the same policy on themselves. They are going to keep collecting on their SS checks and use Medicare and keep claiming all their children on their taxes, and then complain more about big government and entitlements.

Well they are stupid too for some of those things. Some not.

How is collecting SS checks or medicare hypocritical? I never understood that. They paid into the system. I don't want SS but I am forced to participate. I would gladly opt out though. I don't see how that makes me a hypocrite.

These guys say they want to pay more, well they can if they want to. Whats stopping them?
