Milk and cookies

Someone just gave me homemade cookies at work.
At first I was giddy with my suprise, but now I find myself craving milk.

This sucks.

whoever said, "'tis better to have eaten cookies and crave milk, than to have never eaten cookies at all" is an idiot.


update: I'm going to go get a diet coke. The onset of cookie drymouth is maddening.

update: Diet coke effectively killed the cookie aftertaste. dangit

It depends on how old the cookie and how much chocolate chip is in it. Typically, if it's new and gooey and warm I need some F.N. milk.

I used to have to drink milk with my cookies, but now that I have developed lactose intolerance in my old age, I have trained myself to stop craving the milk. I actually don't crave sweets near as much anymore because I can't drink milk with them. Well, I can physically drink it, I just do a lot of sitting and reading after I do

Milk is for baby cows. Cow's milk is, anyways. I assume it still represents the vast majority of milk consumed by noninfant humans.
