I sure love our military. But I sure hate the political bullshyte behind it. The last great war was WWII. Everything since then has been a policital fvck-all without a true defined agreed upon purpose that was clearly needed.

Well, it's the liberals who have politicized this war. It is they who cannot see the hand writing on the wall: the good vs. evil., the freedom vs. terrorism. I'm glad we have a president who sees this, who marches on, despite all the libs who want him to take a poll for every decision...as Kerry would do if given the chance.

Oh, and sorry for politicizing this thread...it's just my dad is ex-military and so are 90% of his friends...and I witness their reactions...they hate Kerry and love Bush...I bet if we polled our troops, most of them would vote for Bush too...I wonder why the libs at CNN haven't done that yet...

Theres a difference betwene supporting the military and sending it to do questionable deeds. I support the military, but cant rightly think of 1 military action since WWII we could have fully justified, except the hunt for Al Queda, which does NOT include the removal of Hussein.
Thus, while I applaud those in power who supprt our troops and give them the funding and equipment they need, I still dont approve of how they use the military.

Let's not politicize this thread. C'mon, there's nothing political in that flash animation anyway. Let's just keep this thread bumped.

So I would assume you do NOT support kerry...since he not only didn't vote to fund our troops in Iraq but also voted against just about everything Reagan did to end the Cold War...including things like develop the Patriot Missle and Apache Helicopter.

Put it this way, the longer Osama & Company have their focus on fighting in Iraq, the better we are here in the States, right? That could be Bush's genius: getting all the terrorists to fight in one, rotten basket.

Pretty touching video. Good view for anyone in the military or with friends/family in the military.

The men and women of are country do NOT fight and die because of national interests - they do so out of a patriotic duty, love of country, and the belief that they are doing what is RIGHT.

Yes and hitler thought what he was doing was right. Just because someone tells you to jump off a cliff does that mean you would do it? Now what if george bush told you to jump off a cliff?

the real question is would jump off a cliff because george bush told you not too becuse thats the partisan vibe im getting from you

FYI hitler knew what he was doing was wrong, otherwise can you explain why he didnt witness the touture of jews and soviets. its a know fact that he couldnt handle the violence and had a weak stomach for it--doesnt sound like someone that felt what he was doing was just.

On the real thread purpose...great video and great pictures only wish they were higher quality, but nothings perfect.

Very powerful reminder about the courage, determination and sacrafice that our military embodies and represents. Look at those pictures and you will see this country has faced much bleaker times and I feel we should be greatful at the very least for the sense of protection they afford my family and yours in peace of mind.

reagan didn't end the cold war, the USSR collapsed. there's a big difference. it's like winning a race because the other car's engine exploded and then bragging that YOU were responsible for winning because you installed a supercharger and nitrous on your car.

what hitler THOUGHT is of no consequence. what matters is that he TOLD people it was right, and they believed him, just like you believe bush. bush uses the same tools hitler did: fear, rhetoric, religion, and scapegoats, and you buy it just like the germans did. xionide's point has nothing to do rebellion. it has to do with thinking for yourself.

Good Flash video. Worth watching.

There's an argument in this thread regarding politicizing, and someone's thrown in a callous reference to Hitler. You're kidding right!? Throwing stones at policy, politicians and pretending to know a thing about history... Why would you expect to hold others accountable for their convictions when you yourself can't even keep a thread respectfully on topic?

It's about honor and respect, commitment and sacrifice.

The OP is a good flash video. It's worth watching.

I guess you did...oh well, all it ever takes is one moron to make a political comment...then everyone else gets drawn to the thread like files on poop or gawkers to a car crash.
