Navy doesn't use MOS, but I was a Yeoman.

Is this you?
😛

And yes, I now know what the US Navy refers to as a Yeoman, thanks to the same wiki page I pulled that image from. I always just knew it was a social class type of thing of yesteryear.

As for me?
Not commissioned yet, 5 months to go, and then... whenever they send me to BOLC B (branch training, OBC, etc etc).

I will be:
USAR, 25A

I actually enlisted into 0300, but that got changed to "meet the needs of the Corps."

After Vietnam, I held a couple of other jobs with different MOS's, but in my heart, I'll always be a grunt...

1996 - 2000

7212 - Anti-air Gunner

it was kinda boring. mostly trained to ID aircraft so we don't shoot down our own.

SAP is mainly involved with handling the logistics for manufacturing companies. I do not expect you will get much experience with SAP in the military. I would recommend pursuing Oracle technology since it is a standards based application. Once proficiency is gained with an application based on database standards, then you may go in whatever direction seems appropriate with a solid foundation.

Any idea as how I should do that right now college? Ill look up and see if we have any Oracle courses

Also would another MOS be better suited for me?

The numbers are provided on your DD-214.

that is where i had to go look, nobody while i was in the navy ever used the term "MOS" , it is all by rate (electricians mate) and what "A" and "C" schools you attend

but my DD-214 has a box with some code in it
