I don't really care as long as logitech doesn't lose the 'feel' of their keyboards that I am a big fan of.

Would suck if this ever did happen. I generally like logitech products and never really had any issues with them.

Hell their base products are quite good. Those little black basic 2 button mice are probably the most reliable part to a computer I've ever encountered. I can't think of a single time one has not worked for me and at my place of work they get a lot of abuse.

Well, this would suck. But I believe in the free market system, so whatever happens happens.

Maybe MS gobbling up Logitech will open the door for a third company, Belkin or someone like that to put out some cool products and fill in the void.

Yeah, I like my G7 quite a bit. I have an aging iFeel MouseMan for my main desktop.

I love MS natural keyboards and Logitech mice. Hopefully they don't do anything to the mice.

Say hello to my little shiity Microsoft driver!

Seriously, Logitech would immediately drop off my purchase list, even though almost all my peripherals and audio equipment are from them.

Logitech all the way! I love their keyboards and mice.

Even if sometimes they are pretty overpriced ;)

Got my Logitech G7 for $12 ~1.5 years ago.
Edit: Actually it was almost 2 years ago. March 15, '06.

I thinhk Logitech would resist any buyout. They are not losing money or anything, they are in a perfect market and make quality products.

Microsoft Speakers?

Microsoft has made speakers in the past. I have the MS DSS 80 USB speakers from almost 10 years ago. Great sounding speakers and work perfectly among all my Logitech mice cluttering my desk.

While I don't like the potential of another monopoly for Microsoft, they wouldn't that stupid to replace the Logitech product line with their own products. If this is to happen, it's just Logitech products with the MS label on it.
