I've had my Intelimouse Explorer for nearly 2 years and haven't had any problems with it, pluse I've used it so much that the silver coating is wearing off in a few spots.

It was the first batches that had some problems with durability. Now they work perfectly fine. Actually the Explorer mouse i use has had no problems for about 2 years also. I've got another thats running on about a year..nothing wrong with it either. I've just never cared for logitechs design and feel. The MS Explorer fits in my hand great and it's awesome cause it has the front and back buttons..cant beat that.

I just called 425 4542030 and they told me I have a free 90 day warranty period whatever that is. But then I got transfered to Tech support and he said that I had a bad mouse and they would send one out as soon as they came available. So that is the route to go.
