It's no where near the medical situation most hospitals and OBs make it out to be.

Do you have any kids because I do. The first one with a nurse midwife in the hospital for 24 hours with no drugs and the hospital billed over 10k.

Our third we had at home with a nurse midwife and it cost $4500 including check ups.

For low risk pregnancies the hospitals over charge in the name of malpractice prevention.

How is a pregnant 15 year old supposed to cover $12000? Especially when in your world mommy and daddy have disowned her for doing the no no.

For that matter who said anything about encouraging 15 year olds to get pregnant?

You can't 'prove' any of it. Because the very premise of proving that something is 'murder' is asinine. To argue that abortion isn't murder is to argue that chocolate is better than vanilla. What "Murder" as opposed to "Killing" is, is a highly subjective thing.

Now, does abortion end the life of a genetically unique human that, if not otherwise acted upon negatively, would likely become a tax paying citizen? Absolutely.

Is forcing a woman to remain pregnant when she doesn't want to be a violation of her civil liberties? Absolutely.

These are real problems and both sides of the issue have strong, well founded, arguments. Dismissing the other side because you disagree with it, instead of building the best argument you can for it, is why partisans of all ilk are stupid.
